The Neglected Nationalist community

The Hindus who have been living in the valley of Kashmir are associated and following Hinduism before the origin of religion. The Aryan Race commonly called as Kashmiri Pandits, are rich in culture, practice and follow the teachings of Vedas, commonly Shavists and preachers of Maa Shakti. One of the great seven saints Kashap Rishi is the originator of Kashmir valley and the place gained the name after HIM.

History reveals that the community has produced so many renowned personalities in the field of Governance, Judiciary, Military, Science and Education, Art and Poetry etc. The community preached and practiced the high religious rituals to live life and simultaneously preserve and protect the environment and ensured that ecological balances may not be disturbed. This virtue of living has made the community highly peace loving, calm and careful about every creature of universe and every aspect of life. The attitude of love,affection and respect continued to move from one generation to other.

During Political changes and invasions by non Hindu rulers, The community found it difficult to adjust them selves in changing scenario because the habit of work to rule and contentment has made them rigid and law abiding citizens. Pandit scholars were fluent in Persian,Sanskrit and other languages, capable to adjust and gain expertise in every official duties. Because the religious philosophy of Kashmiri Hindu is rooted in Kashmir Shaivism, considering SHIVA the Maheswara as supreme reality, hence they were best advisers but such teachings kept them away to be warriors or good fighters.

During fifteenth and seventeenth century the Hindus of Kashmir have to face the wrath of severe, cruel Muslim rulers and the large number of community failed to tolerate the severity of such rulers and migrated towards Hindu populated areas of different Princely states then ruling in different plans of INDIA and few converted to Islam. The expertise, knowledge of governance and education gave them place within high circles of many princely ruled states, the process continued during British rule up to Independence of country and for so many years even after 1947. Out of them Very few among the migrated Hindus of Kashmir remained connected to original roots and virtues.

The conversion during said period and continued migration since then reduced the Hindus in to microscopic minority at Kashmir and population ratio reduced to 2% that too scattered within the entire valley (i-e Two to Three Hindu families were residing among one thousand Muslim Families or more in rural areas) and the impact and forced influence of cruel and fanatic rulers started, its bad clout was seen slowly in virtues and attitude of minority Hindus, only to survive under adverse conditions. The instinct of Islamization and separatism was seen among Muslims of Kashmir since partition of country. Sheikh Abdullah was instrumental in instigating the communal divide among Kashmir Muslims and such process started rusting the sofi culture of togetherness in valley. The rulers of country handled the situations very badly and instead of stern action, the process of appeasement was adopted and eye,s shut deliberately and few selected families of Kashmir Muslims were continuously corrupted to let the voice pent up and reciprocally such families continued to exploit and loot the exchequer. The few astute Majority community influenced by such corrupt families continued the hidden intrigue of separatism and its bomb exploded during last months of year 1989, the Pakistan trained militants intruded to valley and were given shelter in Mosques and in houses of few Muslim residents, started selected killing of innocent Hindus of Kashmir, and increased that into random killings, warning the Pandit community to either convert to Islam or leave the valley. The posters were pasted in different localities and the loud speakers of Mosques used to warn and threaten Hindu minority to face the consequences of being INDIANS and Patriotic. Hindus were given dictates through loud speakers from Mosques by JIHADIES to leave valley without young ladies and girls. The Government of state and center failed to protect the fundamental rights of this nationalist community because law and order was absolutely in shambles. The minority Hindu community was left to the mercy of GOD even majority of local police men were informers of militants. Large number of Hindus of Kashmir were mercilessly killed, Ladies and girls raped, the local selected people helped the militants in carrying and continuing the atrocities on Hindus till middle of year 1990 which resulted into mass exodus of Minority Hindus from valley. The Hindus were shunted from valley like heard of animals and they left the home and property to take refuge in safer places of country. The few of the Hindus in some rural areas who remained within the valley were en-mass massacred even after 1990.

This educated, Nationalist, Patriotic, Peace loving and faultless Hindu Minority community was forced to reside in torn tents and unhygienic one room temporary tentaments within the far off places of Jammu and Udhampur cities of Jammu Province of J&K, in company of poisons reptiles, for so many years. The pathetic conditions of living under such circumstances continued for further so many years till Indian Government satisfied the international community that this is due to communal violence of valley and not voice of separatism. The conditions of large number of this nationalist community is still unchanged at different town ships.

Even after this tragic displacement, scattered in different states of country the community continued to educate their children, although faced lot of hard ships to settle their wards and provide the required infrastructure to children after curtailing the personal demands. One sapient person can well understand how the well settled and established family of displaced community would have managed to restart the life in absolutely different environment, empty handed, leaving all the assets at home then looted and burnt by the majority community at valley, in maximum places.

About thirty years have passed, our book of tragedy is open and apparent that center Government failed to provide us protection and stop the displacement from our age old native land to suffer and disintegrate. We don't need any leader or person to plead our case, the people at helm of affairs of this country must realize the mistake committed by then dispensation and rectify the mistake, rehabilitate our community with honor at valley after recreating the conducive atmosphere, and till then feel the responsibility and provide the community all the legitimate rights/ facilities of displacement as per U.N.O rules and regulations.

This displacement has been encased by many political parties, NGO,s, etc only for personal benefits during last about thirty years. Enough is enough. You can,t penalize and make us suffer any more for our one truthful crime of being NATIONALISTS and Isolate us for being patriotic. This country is safe tavern for Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, Burmese, Rohingyas. We observe how different state Governments provide shelter to foreigners on Govt. expenses. Why should we Indians displaced from valley in a pre-planned ethnic cleansing suffer in our own country. We believe in present dispensation and Our Honorable Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Bai Modi. We are observing how he is busy in cleaning the system. PM is also busy in rectifying old sins/ laws of country, purposely made to misuse and make corruption. I appeal the Prime Minister of country to take all necessary steps immediately in r/o rehabilitation of this community. He can seeks the views and suggestions on-line from community members by creating a questioner and website, if required. The Govt. must do every thing to abolish this black dot on priority.
