POLITICS AND POWER IN INDIA

India is a democratic republic country and has parliamentary system of governance with powerful legislature and judiciary separately working within the ambit of Indian constitution. Democracy, of the people and for the people.

Different political parties participate in the process of election after every five years trying to send their majority of members to parliament so that they can frame the government and work for the country and society as per the agenda of manifesto they have framed, but within the set guidelines of the holy book of country the INDIAN CONSTITUTION. The manifestos of the political parties reveal how they can mitigate the problems of the society and work for the development of the country in different fields like economy, defence, foreign policy, commerce, sports, infrastructure development, education and research, science and space etc. People in general used to cast the vote after going through the manifestos of the parties or by listening about it from its orators during public rallies and go through print, social or visual media. This is the proper procedure to be followed both by political parties and voters in a democracy.

But from initial election after independence of the country, people in power started misusing their positions and started indulging in corrupt practices to accumulate money, Misappropriated the budgeted allocations after pressurizing or involving Govt. officials, forgetting the promises of manifesto.

The political parties started practicing divisive politics with ultimate motive to gain power so that they can accumulate countless money and practice corruption by misusing power. People were made fool time and again by a particular political set up for about 60 years.

Ideology, Discipline, Principles, etc has nothing to do with politics in India now, because the lust of power at any cost and sacrifice of any rule, regulation and guideline has become the priority. The political persons who remain at helm of affairs irrespectively, in India, propagate that they can serve the country only if they will be on the chair of power. We have seen the majority of political persons forgetting the ideology and using their position to loot and misappropriation of public funds and still enjoy the facilities and delight as a dictator. So, they went to any extent to obtain rein of power, say to divide the society after creating the differences among different casts, different religions, create student unrest, instigate public against any rule or article, create some rumors, or help such anti national forces who can create unrest in society, provoke people for arson, vandalism and rioting etc say do dirty politics.

During the last two decade, India has seen the rein of extreme corrupt politicians and the exasperation of public against such politicians and parties to vote for a change to new party, believing its one assessed leader, with the quality of a leadership and aim to rectify the evils and do ultimate good for the country, without adopting the corrupt practices. The people were proved correct by the person and the party they believed after general elections of country in 2014. Instead of all odds, opposition by Pseudos’ Lutyens and many decades misrule, the things started running towards national good.

The down trodden and needy persons, irrespective of cast, creed and religion were looked after and helped to mitigate problems. Some important constitutional amendments were made to help country for framing national laws etc. The five years of good governance made people of country understand their importance and political existence and again handed over the rein of power of country to the true and nationalist leader in general elections of 2019. The political parties with Communist ideology, cast politics and age-old congress party etc were reduced to elimination due to corrupt practices of persons within were holding the sovereignty of such parties from generations. ( I oppose to mention them as LEADERS rather mention them as political persons because they possess zero quality of a leader.) Such persons felt the heat and fear of finishing politically and in a pre-planned way they started doing dirty politics to remain in existence and started defaming the present dispensation and nationalist leader inside the parliament, public meetings, social media, spreading rumor’s and misinformation among masses to mislead people, but failed at all levels.

After fulfilling the promises made by BJP in manifesto which are of national importance, successfully, such as Amendment to Article 370 and 35A of constitution, Passing of Triple Talakh bill and its prohibition etc and amendment of Article 14 relating to Citizens amendment act, the political persons in opposition parties are waffled and understand that their corrupt and divisive politics, the lie we used to peddle to gain power, will no longer be accepted by citizens of this great country.

In a planned way they accelerated the machinery of hate, rumor, false propaganda and instigated the Muslim community, who have the history of believing blindly and irresponsibly, against the government that citizens amendment act is threat to their existence as the citizens of this country. We see from last about one week how the students and people of Muslim community have started riots, damaged the public property, created unrest in society, injured and assaulted the police officials by stones and sticks, without knowing the facts about the CAA. The majority of citizens are astonished to see the level of illiteracy and backwardness existing within Muslim community and how they can be used by communists, corrupt political persons, urban Naxals and failed politicians for individual selfish, anti national agenda with aim to topple the nationalist government at Centre. This ongoing trouble created in different states by few corrupt anti society politicians with the help of Muslim citizens of this country is lesson for the peace loving and nationalist residents of country to understand the might, nationality and attitude of so-called fearful community of country and imagine how they will behave fearlessly.

Although CAA has nothing to do with legal citizens of this nation which include the Muslims also, but seeing the present activities of few faithless members of Muslim community and the way they are damaging the national property, government must seriously think and act sternly to curb such ant national activities.

This nation has lived peacefully with unity in diversity and present dispensation is working for the development of all with slogan of our Prime Minister, Sab Kaa Sath Saab Ka Vikas, and we the citizens of this country must work unitedly and not let this great nation go down instead give shoe beating to the malicious intensions of corrupt and failed politicians and obsolete communist ideology.

Let us unite and with positive and legitimate criticism encourage government to continue working for national good and prosperity of society. VANDEMATRAM.
